We built PriceGuard NZ to be the quiet, dependable assistant doing that follow-up for you. It watches the prices, drafts the polite emails NZ retailers are happy to receive, and keeps every receipt and warranty filed in one place for the next time you need it. No browser extensions, no aggressive language, no selling your data, no extra hours of admin. Just one small Kiwi-built tool, making sure the protections retailers already offer actually reach the households they're meant for.

- Independent service. PriceGuard NZ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any retailer named on this site.
- Public data only. We read prices from public product pages once a day. We respect robots.txt, do not bypass login walls, and never scrape personal data.
- Prices may move. The price we show was correct at our last daily check. Final price and stock are always set by the retailer. Always verify on the retailer's website before claiming.
- Refund is the retailer's call. Our drafts ask politely for a price-protection adjustment under the retailer's published policy. The decision is always the retailer's, and refunds are never guaranteed by PriceGuard NZ.
- No misleading comparisons. We don't fabricate "was" prices. Every price we display comes from the retailer's live or last-checked listing.
- Your statutory rights are yours. Price-protection is a voluntary retailer policy. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (quality, fitness, description) and Fair Trading Act 1986 (no misleading conduct) are separate and cannot be contracted away by anyone, including us.
